Informed, written consent will be obtained from all participants after they have been informed about the goals of the test and the methods used.

None of the tests have any risks for the health of the participants.

The results of the standardized cognitive tests are available to the participants and will be explained to them by an experienced psychologist.

Tests are presented in the form of games.

The data collected by this software is for screening and diagnostic purpose of developmental dyslexia.

The study was approved by Ethical committee, IIT Bombay.

Data collected will be confidential.


Information We Collect :

• Through the registration process, you will provide us with your name, e-mail and age.

• We use microphone to take user audio.

• Storage permission for storing the data.


Use of information obtained by Brainu :

When you register with brainu, some of the information is taken for following purpose:

• Communication : The test result will be send to the registered email.

• Age : To know the exact age group from which the participant belong.


Children under age of digital consent:

Brainu checks the age of the user to determine if the user is able to consent to the Service.

If consent of a parent/guardian is required, the user will input the e-mail address of an adult who will receive a request to approve the child’s account registration.

In the absence of a country specific Act of Law, the age of consent will be set at 16.


Information security:

Brainu has implemented administrative and technical safeguards it believes are appropriate to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your personal data.

However, given sufficient resources, a determined attacker could defeat those safeguards and may, as a result, gain access to the data we seek to protect.
